History and Philosophy

Parker Pediatrics and Adolescents was the first pediatric practice in Douglas County, started by Dr. Rabinowitz in 1982. In 1997, we moved to our present location in the Parker Healthcare Center. Since its inception, Parker Pediatrics has never had a doctor leave the practice, except for retirement! We're proud to serve our growing community and we continue to volunteer our time for local institutions, such as schools, daycares and charitable concerns. We remain independent and not owned or managed by any healthcare organization.

Our philosophy is to provide total care for your growing child and help your child reach his or her maximum potential. As general pediatricians, we strive to serve our patients in all areas of healthcare including well care, sick care, urgent care, chronic illness, disabilities and psychosocial problems. We believe strongly in preventative medicine and prescribe medicines only when necessary.

Our unique office layout is designed as two offices in one. Our acute side is generally for ill or injured patients. Our well side is for prescheduled health supervision exams, newborn visits and consultative type services.
