PARKING LOT REPAIRS- PHASE 2

The final phase of the building parking lot repairs will begin later this month. During this time, portions of the south parking lot will be closed, including entrance/exits. As the date gets closer, we will send out additional instructions.

CONTACT PHONE NUMBERS

Within the EPIC system, the “home” phone is a required field and when it is empty creates an error message.

For many, we think of a “home” phone as land line, which many families no longer have. However, within EPIC this information field is considered the “primary” phone contact number. As a result, you may see a cell phone as a mobile phone and also as the home phone.

In addition, EPIC search criteria includes a “telephone” option, and for this reason we do request that both parent’s phone numbers be included within the patient record, not just the parent’s individual records.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES ARE RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER

With the summer camp and sports season coming up quickly, in order for us to provide forms, prescription refills, or referrals, your child(ren) must be current on their annual physical exams.

For any forms that have been completed previously, these are available in MyChart and are good for one year. If a specific form is required for upcoming activities, please provide this via MyChart or e-mail so that it can be used to fulfill your request. Be sure to complete all parent portions of any form before submitting.

Options for reviewing due dates:

• Use MyChart to check the date of the previous year’s exam. If scheduling through MyChart, you will be prompted to schedule one day later than the previous year’s for insurance coverage purposes.
• Call the office to inquire about when the previous year’s exam occurred. You can then schedule at that same time.

We have started opening our schedules out one year, so you can schedule next year’s exam while in the office.
