EPIC CHANGES COMING NEXT WEEK…
We will be transitioning to the EPIC Electronic Health Record (the same system used by Children’s Hospital Colorado) early next week. This new enhanced medical record system will help streamline our office processes, provide a patient portal, and allow parent access to medical information.
Using My Chart, parents can:
- Access their children’s medical information, download and print patient information from office visits, forms, or an immunization record directly for their use.
- Medical concerns and/or questions can be submitted to our phone nurse via messaging in the portal. This will help minimize time spent on hold, leaving messages and waiting for a return call.
- You will be provided with a link at check in to help you enroll in My Chart (or add children to an existing account) in order to receive the most comprehensive care.
As we transition to this new system you may encounter slightly increased telephone, check in, and wait times. Because this is a new system, each patient’s information will need to be verified at check in. We will ask for copies of insurance cards. Your patience and understanding as we roll out and get used to the EPIC system will be tremendously appreciated.
NEW APPOINTMENT REMINDER SYSTEM
We will also be transitioning to the Artera reminder system that is utilized by many other medical practices. Reminders that you receive beginning 06/11/2024 may look different.
